Bulgur Pilaf with Pepper
Four servings, Cooking time: 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 green peppers
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 red capia pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon of salt and black pepper
- 3/4 cup of bulgur
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Preparation
1. Finely chop the onion, tomatoes and peppers.
2. Sauté the onions in olive oil.
3. Add the tomatoes and peppers, and continue to sauté.
4. Add the washed and drained bulgur and the spices, and sauté for 2-3 more minutes.
5. Add enough hot water to cover the bulgur. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook until the water is absorbed. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
