Bulgur Pilaf with Lamb Meat
4 servings. Cooking time: 70 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of bone-in lamb
- ¾ cup of bulgur
- 1/2 bunch of parsley
- 2 medium onions
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- ½ teaspoon of salt, black pepper and paprika
- 4 sprigs of fresh green onions
- 1 clove of garlic
Preparation
1. Cook the lambs with 1 clove of garlic and 1 onion, adding 1 cup of water, on low heat.
2. Sauté the green onions with tomato paste. Add the bulgur and parsley, and sauté for another 2 minutes. Then, add all the spices.
3. Place the cooked lamb in a baking tray. Fill the remaining spaces with the sautéed bulgur. After straining the meat broth, pour it into the baking tray. If the broth does not cover the bulgur, add hot water.
4. Cover the tray with baking paper and bake at 210°C (410°F) in turbo mode. When the liquid is almost absorbed, remove the baking paper and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
5. After removing from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
